Austria is truly a land of diversity when it comes to agriculture and food production. The organisation “Land schafft Leben” has been working for a decade to help customers understand where their food comes from and what really can be found behind the products. WECH is delighted to congratulate them on this milestone as a proud partner and is looking forward to help play a part in the future.
What does “Land schafft Leben” do?
Founded in 2014, Maria Fanninger and Hannes Royer set out to make the origin and production of Austrian foodstuffs clear and transparent for everyone. They use their platform and various initiative to not just explain the value-added chain of a product - from the farmyard to the supermarket shelf - but also cover the challenges, innovations and cultural values associated with food production.
The organisation focuses on people who ensure that quality food appears on our plates every single day. Farmers, producers and retailers get the opportunity to show how much work and passion goes into each and every product. At the same time, “Land schafft Leben” helps customers make informed purchasing decisions, encourages regional development and is very much a champion of sustainability.
WECH as a committed partner
As a company that has always had a strong focus on our home region and on quality, WECH is delighted to have been a “Land schafft Leben” partner for many years. Collaboration is built on shared values: Transparency, responsibility and appreciation for producers of Austrian foodstuffs.
By supporting this initiative, WECH does not just aim to underline the importance of regional value-added chains, but also lay down a marker for the future in doing so. Only close collaboration between customers, producers and companies mean we can safeguard the quality and variety of Austrian produce in the long run.
Looking to the future
WECH congratulates “Land schafft Leben” on a successful decade full of inspiration and explanatory work. This podcast has helped many people be more aware about their consumption and also appreciate the work that goes into every product.
